Frozen Feelings

Every one of us experiences all that happens around us in some way or another. We react, inspect, analyze, visualize and then we act.In the first few years of your life, we are like a sponge, taking in all sensory inputs and building our own ideas and end up being raw and careless.Unless, the environment is safe, supportive as a children you learn with an incredible speed. However, when things get scary, stressful, the child learns from past to overdo this shadow of gloomy and sad world and take an example to act and react.
We are all living in a plastic world with microcosmic line of thought .We all are part of developed world and to be concise "Better India. I don't want to label any thoughts upon any individual but the grown brutality inhumane actions has really been a question for me not with this act but the ongoing sensual crimes.
What kind of society we are living in,a satire it would to say that we pose, commend and we have inhibited strong cultural values, clear mindset and uplifted living standards? I feel obnoxious when I come across reading news paper, blogs, twits and then the social arena's such as Facebook. We have so much downtrodden from what we were to what we are going towards.Security is not a solution it is the nation, people and we as citizens have to understand and vigilante enough to avoid such acts to occur.

Bloody Teasers!

It is high time that we removed the ever-perennial social stigma of eve-teasing by legal means. It remains a canker in our society. The other day when I asked one of my acquaintances (it’s a he) about his pastime, the last activity on his list was eve-teasing which he called “the source of euphoria.”
It is very easy to fall prey to the overtures of these roadside Romeos. I’ve been jaw-droppingly surprised to realise that a person who is impeccably dressed in the outside has a pleasant demeanour that belies his real feelings — looks are indeed deceptive!
A common word used by this jobless group is ‘charakk’ which, when uttered, seems to give them immense pleasure. Some of their passing comments make us rethink, “are we in the nude?” The dead truth is that the girl need not be wearing a skimpy or midriff revealing dress to fall prey to these comments. And, above all, the sadistic grin that dances on the perpetrator’s face after being convinced that the girl is harassed or embarrassed to the core is sickening.
No amount of stares helps solve this menace. On the other hand, it only encourages them to pass uncouth comments. Stalking, groping inside a bus and other crowded places like airports, flashing themselves on roads and pavements and resorting to extreme steps like acid attacks are some of the cheap tactics by which they satiate their nasty or unsavoury fetish. Sari pins, long nails, etc., find mention in the homilies as saviours at such times. But these are not the best antidote to this illness. Newspaper reports about the sad demise of a brother who tried to protect his sister from goons are not new to our eyes. The brutal rape and murder of Soumya, a Keralite during her fisticuffs with a handicapped burglar found place in the annals of judicial history when a fast track court in Thrissur awarded the death sentence to Govindasamy, the murderer, in November 2011 after arriving at the conclusion that he was a threat to society and did not deserve any leniency. We all have to just create that impulse and pull strength among us to stop this unmentioned bull-ism.World is not that miniaturized that we can't say "No" to something which we should.
However, this is a rare case when justice was granted because more often than not, the accused in such cases are let off with a word of caution by police. No amount of punishment seems to deter these criminals from their offensive ‘goals.’ Even after all these happenings, it’s sheer surprise that the Railway budget 2012 is silent about the “safety of the passengers.” Incredible India!

Father's Day!

Forget screechy voices that brazenly peddle everything from cars to chavanprash, infact say hello to this new world of branding.- I also wish Happy Father's Day to my Father !!

Another weekend morning with mixed thoughts. The hot air and nothing else surrounds the mind, if you are living in northern part of India and that too summers you start ending up saying about the scorching heat in most of your discussions at times.Well summers are all about less to say and more to stay at home.
Well, good morning guys cheer up.At least, I could take a longer nap today as today is my Dad's day.I know he won't be running after my room to say that already sun is up and your are still down. But,now I miss those days .Today, when I woke with this thought I am more concerned that how many issues today, how long I'll be back today.I wish no sev-1 and nothing that warrants me.Thoughtless, whether there could a day be like that use to be-never I believe so.
Well, its a global day today we all express love to our father most of us do that by placing a nice status on Facebook and have some wonder likes on the same which is infact the most avid way of expressing love.I am not being critic or anything else on this way  web2.0 method of expressing love. De-Facto in this modern plastic thought is we have our half of the lives now revealed via Facebook.Well, let's me not get drifted and turn out this blog from my way of expressing love towards my father instead of talking on decision on the topic - Facebook and Life in 2012.
The morning status updates of Facebook and multiple tagging by people to express their love towards their dad made me feel that I also need to think something.I was also drifted by that thought to say something. Was not sure what exactly can I express, after all is that the only way left to say Happy Father's Day!
But, yes I was not moved by this thought of expressing my love via Facebook when I am sure that my dad is never gone check that nor I don't want to put any new status update.
We all love HIM after all he heads the family and he gives us the strength to move ahead in life. When I say "WE" i say it for all of us as kids,teens,mid-age, and as father's as well and "HIM" goes to that man for all of us who has been exemplary in every name, family and world.Father always has to play the hard part of role.He has to go out and earn, improve, cherish, smile, feel the pain, strict at times and caring.I am saying that mother's don't do all this but Father's have to whatever be the reason. He has to go through some of the tough decisions at times for the family welfare, which we think that dad is strict. We never understand as kids that part of emotional stress that our parents have to manage.Well,as professionals everyone of us has to go through some tough decisions but we never overlook the risks. In the very same way our parents do the same in their general board meeting :P in which they discuss out some plans regarding us,which gets rolled out from mother's end and eventually making a tough image for our dad's as he hardly breaks that news.We don't hardly ever understand that who asked our mothers to come up and ask us whether All is well ?We hardly take these things into our nerves whether dad is concerned or not.We get to see hard scolding from our Father's most of the time and instances add up in such a way that we end up making him the verdict of being tough, strict and will get surrounded by skewing, oblique thoughts in our live senses.Father's emotional binding with their children are sort of hidden mode. They, love to explore their children, and I would say that if you are true and friendly with your Father you can explore a best mentor, friend and guide for your entire life.He makes you help to take care of your decisions. He helps you to decide your future, your professional understanding and he is the one who helps us to take critical decisions at times when we really don't find any solution.Atleast, this is the case with me.
What it takes for a father to decide for his child's desire. He has to understand his/her dreams and then help him/her to move in that direction.I am lucky that I am blessed with such a wonderful family where I have absorbed the culture, strength and his leanings in a way to hold a family,to hold a position in society and to hold a status.I am not sure whether I will be able to full fill what my parents have dreams for me.But, yes my father as made me learn how to dream and make it true.He has built in that confidence in me that dreams come true.I am driven by this fact that someday I'll make all his dreams come true!
We are all lucky to have our Father's with us.Some of us it might not be the case but they still have that confidence, learning that they had from their Parent's this drives each of us to go the farthest and reach the sky!

I wish him too a Happy Father's Day!

A Pocket full of Kryptonite.!

Can Mamta's Deccan and similar lost cost budget handle the onslaught of highly increased prices?Or ever can it compete with business icon of Indian Railways Lalu's Budget.

As a kid ,strange as it might seem,I always used to scoff at cartoons, and why not i should?when even turning older i love to hear duck tales at my cell phone ringing bell.
And though the yearsmy favourite always remained the mammoth man made of some metal steel,Superman of course! As comical as reasons mite seem,I had to berate him(certainely there is no other good reason for a superman to coexist). For me, superman was,in short,a loser, who was like a sissy with one pocket full of Kryptonite! And then who was my favourite toon emperor?yes none other than the same man of niggardly behavior avuncular Scrooge who cudn't ever fly.Now consider this he couldn't ever fly;he was never there to social service ;and saving the world was an alien to his mind as Indian football team thinking about Qualifying the World Cup(No mockery but we haven't made it to qualify ever)
And what more Scrooge had even eaten Kryptonite dry for breakfast and not having digestion(till lunch atleast)So what was he there for MONEY-the only Scrooge living factor.Perhaps,Scrooge never cared about relationships nor what poeple said about his dress after all he undesstood money matters.
I guarantee, the deja vu and the metamorphic similarity would hit you as hard as it hit me,if you were to compare like i did with Mamta's WB based economically driven, overflaunted, unexpectedly expected budget with that of Lalu's deccan driven budgetry.
India's LCC(Low cost carrier) industry with a competitor that they had never expected would churn out something yeilding. And then we say Lalu Prasad Yadav via Indian Railways or either way.Think about it,Lalu 'Scrooge' Yadav doesn't care about relationships what people think of the man & style, gives two hoots about what people imagine or his deportment, and would kick 'world saving' ideas out of his diary farm if it would cost him a penny. But the one issue CEO lalu has never lost of in all these years,is Profit either way his or Industry! The Indian railways never saw such a brighter time than before, and what the LCC industry focussed on? social service. What else would you cal after operating with humugous losses of thousands of crores and still attempting lowest price?
Th strategic moves have been diffrent in Lalu's era some techo some innovative he turned railways from rags to riches to quote a few of which i think had been revenuary;
1)Booking of Rail Tickets through Mobile Phones.
2)On-line arrival departure information board.
3)Free Monthy season tickets fro students.
4)50% Concessions for lady ,senior citizens,AIDS patients
5)Staff benefit funds.
6)Garib Raths(Low cost A/C trains )
and on similarlines the biggest of all bringing back railways from loss making to the prfit churning industry-On contrary what has Mamta maam done-oh god!few mishaps at seasons' start, weak signal functioning performance, the poor industry has no money left to its budgetry but she says that in seven months we can add few number to 99 new trains.Seems like WB will now be the major hill station when the maximum population & pollution part grows there how is it feasible that we can have more & more trains for WB only. The need of the hour says that Connecting India is more inmportant than connection in one two many functions that too theory of maths calls invalid.
No who goes and asks Mamta Maam that a cancear patient will never take chance with his life to travel under such circumstances -who knows that train mite end cancealed or may reach at destination when its of no use.Even the students have been given privilage of new trains to offer but how can be that each and every student be traveling to WB.
Already the Museums if India under poor state and face difficulty to attract a lot of tourists then who takes pains to see the train museums when we can already stand on the tracks and see the real facet. She is thoughtful and says that the costs of cements, coal, iron may be increased subject to FM but she says that the costs hike needs no change and on the other hands FM ministry has already put his hands up with revenuary at railways instead of showing plumb has been showing a continual descendend .She forgets that there are no low lost fares left in India and there will not be in future-the budget is just to present without any addendum of any utility or facilitating big to the mass.

Destination Sucess

Failures are stepping stones to sucess,an old story heard from thousands mouths. To add more we say initial failures should not discourage a person from pursuing goal, all becasue each and every failure teaches us something more.It pinpoints the lacune in our effort.Taking lessons from failures we would strive again & again, till success comes our way.Great persons of all time have faced the worse time duration during there struggle for success destination.May be it convolves to life history of some great politician, scientist, leader, businessman or some to whom we take as our ideal.
The harder the effort the sweeter is the result they say;but consistent hard work, motivation and effort unlimited has to be part of the life cycle during the journey for success.
A man of grit, firm determination, and strong will is bound to succees surely and certainely.
The greatest lesson learnt is that we should not loose hope and should give up the fight. If defeat comes,it should be met as a stepping stone to success rather than any descendent to sucees anathema. What if a spider and ant can be a source of motivation then why not we take such dreadful tasks to getting successful."Defeat on the field ,must never be defeat on the mind".One whose mind is overwhelmed by defeat or who develops a defeat complex ,will find it difficult to taste the fruits of victory. We enter a fight or take part in a competition to succeed. Then why not always think of success. If unsuccessful ,another effort mite lead uto the shore.Try again and again untill you succeed is a common phrase but uncommonly the truest of all of them.Sachin R Tendulkar says "to be successful its important that you should accept what you are",either it may be sports, politics, kingship, leadership, business, arts or studies those who achived the status of legendary have gone through intense hard labour and pressure to attain that level of success.

UGC Funda

After a short nap of sleep i felt like sleep is even worrying me,may be,i was occupied by something at my mind.Going though my normal schedule of reading those between the lines of editorials of Business Standard which has maintained its standard by and far now.
Okay instead being more getting circumlocuted let me come to issue.I read an interview where it was all about complains and dissatisfaction regarding UGC and the working of university teachers and disfunctionality.
After little research work and efforts i thought to put everything in my words.
The UGC's directive to college & university lecturers says that they need to spend a minimum of 22 hours a week in direct teaching which is a product of budgetry cutbacks rather than pedagogic wisdom. It may seem odd,at first blush, that teachers should protest about teaching a mere 22 Hrs.However,if one considers the amount of time academics require to prepare lectures of good quality as well as the time they need to spend doing research,it is clear that most conscientious teachers work more than 40 hrs a week.In university systems around the world lecturers rarely spend 12-15 Hrs in direct teaching activity in a week.
The average college in India doesn't owes any sort of office space other than common staff room or some cubical space ,not only this they mite have to share internet systems on the common labs as that od students.
Libraries are poorly stocked. Now UGC says that universities must implement a complete freeze on all permanent recruitment, abolish all posts which have been vacant for more than a year, and mya be they need to cut the staff strenght by 10%.And its the order to ensure that these cutbacks do not affect the quantum of teaching that existing lecturers are being asked to work longer.Obviously, the quality of teaching and academic in general will decline. While it is true that some college teachers do not take their classes reagularly, the UGC and the institutions concerned must find a proper way to hold them accountable. An absentee will continue to play traunt even if number of hours goes up.
All of us are well aware of the unsound state that indian higher education systems is in today. Thanks to years of sustained financial neglect, most Indian universities do not research worth the name..Even as the number of students entering colleges is increasing the publicj investment has also gone up.However, the investment on education has radically grown from 20-60 in between 1985-2006 in Malaysia.Instead of transfering the burden of government apathy on to the backs of teachers ,the uGC should insist the need of country university system should be made more adequate.
( I am not a teacher but at times this issue of unconsisted education system has been warming and alarming, the continual on going strikes by teachers not only puts a halt on the performance but also puts a question on the dignity of our education system)

Play The Game

Life is a game with glorious wins,
If we can only play it right.
It is give and take, build and break.
And often it ends in fight:

But he surely wins who honestly tries
(Regardless of wealth or fame )
He can never despair who plays it fair
It depends on you how are you playing your game.

DO you wilt and whine,If you fail to win
In the same manner you think your due?
Do you sneer at the man in case if he can
And does,do better than you?

Do you take your rebuffs with knowing grin?
Do you laugh tho you pull up lame?
Does your faith hold true when the whole world's blue?
It depends upon you how are you playing your game.

Get into thick of it-made in Man!
Whatever your cherished goal:
Brace up your will till your pulses thrill.
And you dare to your very soul!

Do something more than make a noise:
Let your purpose leap into flame
As you plunge with a cry-"I shall do or die."
All it depends on you how you are playing your game.
